About:
2027 and 2028 are shaping up to be two massive years for superhero fans, with Marvel and DC preparing some of their most ambitious movies yet. Avengers: Secret Wars is set to bring Marvel’s Multiverse Saga to an epic conclusion, potentially uniting the Avengers, Fantastic Four, X-Men, Spider-Man, and heroes from across multiple realities against Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom. Meanwhile, James Gunn’s DC Universe continues expanding with Superman: Man of Tomorrow, bringing David Corenswet’s Superman back alongside Nicholas Hoult’s Lex Luthor and the terrifying Brainiac. Robert Pattinson also returns as Gotham City’s Dark Knight in The Batman Part II, while Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse brings Miles Morales’ multiverse adventure toward its long-awaited conclusion. Marvel’s next generation of mutants will take center stage in the upcoming X-Men reboot, while Black Panther 3 and Ghost Rider could expand the MCU in completely different directions. DC is also developing major projects involving Wonder Woman, the Teen Titans, and Batman’s wider superhero family. From massive superhero team-ups and powerful new villains to multiverse battles, legendary character returns, and entirely new cinematic universes, the next two years could change the future of superhero movies forever. In this video, we explore the best upcoming superhero movies of 2027 and 2028, including confirmed theatrical releases, highly anticipated sequels, new heroes, major casting announcements, potential storylines, and the biggest Marvel and DC movies worth watching.
