The high-stakes thriller kicks off on the unpredictable open sea, where a ruthless crew of illegal shark poachers brutally hunts down marine life for profit. Their reckless cruelty backfires catastrophically, provoking the devastating fury of a heavily scarred, prehistoric-sized giant great white shark. The massive apex predator fights back with absolute savagery, completely slaughtering the poachers before turning its vengeful sights toward new territory. Nearby, an unsuspecting group of wealthy college graduates is living it up on a luxury yacht to celebrate their university graduation. Among them is Wu Liang (Chen Xin Zhe), who has orchestrated an elaborate, surprise marriage proposal for his supermodel girlfriend, Chen Yanyan (Wei Xiaoxuan). As part of a risky, romantic stunt, the friends plan to stage a fake shark attack so Wu can heroically dive into the water and "rescue" her with a hidden engagement ring.
