The film masterfully weaves together four separate but overlapping storylines. First, we follow Rory (Dustin Milligan), who visits his younger brother Justin, played by the late Cory Monteith (Glee). Justin is a massive Hollywood superstar, and Rory deeply struggles with the insecurity of living in his successful sibling’s shadow. Nearby, Louise (Gabrielle Miller) bears the heavy emotional burden of caring for her mentally ill brother Jerry (Benjamin Ratner), forcing her to confront years of deep-seated resentment. The drama takes to the asphalt when a struggling, aspiring actress named Nikki (Amanda Crew) calls on her estranged, psychologically fragile half-sister Maggie (Camille Sullivan) for help. Together, the two embark on a chaotic, unpredictable road trip to Los Angeles to land Nikki a career-making role. Finally, teenager Sarah (Kacey Rohl) deals with a shocking domestic revelation when her mother, Marion (Gabrielle Rose), admits she previously gave a child up for adoption. The sudden appearance of her adopted, long-lost half-sister sparks an immediate crisis of jealousy.
