This Marine Biologist Realized They Caught The Wrong Shark | Jaws Movie Clip | In Jaws, a wave of relief washes over Amity Island when local fishermen catch a large tiger shark, prompting the town to celebrate what they believe is the end of the deadly threat. The mood turns somber when a grieving Mrs. Kintner (Lee Fierro) walks onto the docks in mourning clothes and publicly slaps Chief Martin Brody (Roy Scheider) for failing to close the beaches after the first attack. Amidst the town’s eager desire to reopen the waters, newly arrived marine biologist Matt Hooper (Richard Dreyfuss) conducts a preliminary inspection of the captured specimen and grows deeply skeptical, warning Brody that its bite radius doesn’t match the victim’s wounds and that the real killer shark is still lurking in the ocean.
